There was strong support in principle for the proposals. Especially on the issues relating to:

  • the weight limit of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs)
  • the pedestrian and cycle link, and
  • improvements to the public areas in Beddington Village

Comments from the consultation were analysed and designs were revised accordingly. The proposals for the scheme were submitted to Transport for London in September. Funding was awarded in November.
