Untaxed vehicles

If a vehicle is untaxed, we will contact the DVLA and inspect the vehicle. We'll do this within one working day of the report to us.

Vehicles that are a danger to the public

If the vehicle is a danger to the public, we will remove it within one working day of the report to us.

Vehicles that aren't a danger to the public

If the vehicle is not a danger to the public, we'll put a warning notice on it. 

We'll leave the notice on the vehicle for anything from 24 hours to 15 days. This gives the owner the chance to remove the vehicle.

Once the notice period has ended, if the vehicle has not been claimed we'll remove it within one working day.

Vehicles blocking your driveway

If the vehicle is blocking your driveway, but not abandoned, you'll need to contact the Police.
